Experience: I’ve learned in the Laboratory of Experience. I begin my career as a middle-school teacher. I later spent fifteen years working in an Alternative Education high school. Concurrent to the regular school year, I spent ten summers as teacher and administrator in a university-based on-site summer program. I’ve coached high school level basketball. I’ve designed and administered Saturday School programs offering students college-readiness activities. Toward the end of my career, I spent ten years as a high school administrator.
I most recently completed a high school teaching assignment at a local high school. This experience reminded me of my mighty burning desire. My desire is that more students of color graduate from public schools prepared to make valuable contributions to our world.
This material is the Answer. I encourage you to accept the challenge with me to share this material with all of the parents of school aged children that you know. Together we can contribute to building academic excellence in the children that we know and touch. Thank you.
